Green & Gold Shawl
This beautifully soft shawl is ideal draped around the shoulders or can equally be worn as a scarf to ward of the chilly weather. It features a repeating motif along its length and is fully reversible, the other side featuring the negative of the front. Ideal for adding a sophisticated element to an outfit or simply just because you deserve to wear it.
Made from merino wool in both warp and weft, using an overshot technique on my rigid heddle loom. This complex pattern is designed for larger 4-shaft looms and so in a small loom it takes much longer to make.
Price excludes VAT which will be added at checkout.
Green yarn is 75% super wash merino wool and 25% acrylic.
Gold yarn is 55% extra fine merino wool, 33% acrylic and 12% cashmere.
Note: this product is a seconds due to there being an error towards one end of the shawl. However, this does not detract from the beauty of the colours, pattern or its use as a functioning shawl or scarf. The price has been reduced accordingly and for this length and width, time to make and fibre, would normally be over £100.00.
Length: 72 inches including fringe
Width: just under 14 inches
I recommend wash by hand maximum 30C temperature.
Do not wring, rather squeeze water out gently and roll flat between towels. Alternatively you can put through a low spin cycle to remove excess water.
Dry flat and reshape.
Dry clean may be an option.
